Barista

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team in our brand new Kensal Rise site opening in May. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy creating delicious drinks, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations

• Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines

• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

• Assist with food preparation as needed

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

• Experience in food preparation is a plus

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

• Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
