To showcase these products further we use them to make exceptional sandwiches and toasties.

Another key element of our business is our coffee offering, we are working with a local roastery to offer the highest quality coffee for our customers and offering a range of coffee beans for them to buy from the best roasters across London and the UK.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Manager to lead our team at our store in Swains Lane.

Position Overview:

As the manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store , from product selection and procurement to customer service and operations management. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your passion for artisanal foods, support local producers, and create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Curate a diverse and enticing selection of artisanal foods, including cheeses, charcuterie, breads, pastries, preserves, and other gourmet products, emphasizing quality, flavor, and uniqueness. Develop and implement merchandising strategies to showcase products effectively, enhance the shopping experience, and drive sales.

Lead and motivate a team of food enthusiasts, providing training, guidance, and support to deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming and informative environment for our customers.

Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, including inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stocking, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Cultivate relationships with customers, offering personalised recommendations and guidance, and seeking feedback to continuously improve our offerings and service.

Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a specialty food shop or gourmet grocery environment.

Passion for artisanal foods and a deep appreciation for quality, flavor, and craftsmanship.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service and performance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge and passion for food.

Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of inventory management systems and retail POS software.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
