The Nook is an independent takeaway - a friendly space where everyone is welcome but regulars largely include local residents and visitors to Hampstead Heath park. We have 4 core product offerings 1) Speciality Coffee – We are proud to partner with Origin coffee 2) Ice Cream 3) Hot Chocolate 4) Milkshakes The ideal candidate: • Passionate about coffee, with experience as a barista serving speciality coffee • Comfortable dialling in every morning and ensuring consistency throughout the day • Good knowledge of coffee equipment & maintenance • Multitasker with ability to handle busy shifts and high volumes of orders • Confidence and an outgoing nature, able to give outstanding customer service • Previous experience as a supervisor/assistant manager of a café • Comfortable leading a team – organising tasks, communicating, training, etc. • Able to create and manage a team rota • Previous responsibility of ordering from key suppliers
