MISSION:

Delight all visitors to the Rude Health Café by providing Fulham’s best coffee and brightening their day. As a real team player and proactive Rude Health Café Team member, the core task in this role is to deliver an amazing “in Rude Health” experience for all Rude Health Café consumers, visitors and “passers-by”… and by doing so, fulfilling the three main objectives for the Café:

a) to be the best manifestation of our brilliant Rude Health brand b) to bring our mission and values to life via an engaging and energising cultural hub for our team c) to ‘break-even’ as commercial entity for the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Craft and serve specialty coffee beverages with precision, artistry, “heroing” Rude Health Dairy Alternative milk, and showcasing your expertise in espresso extraction and latte art.
  • Provide warm and welcoming customer service; engaging with customers to create memorable “Rude Health” experiences and build lasting relationships.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, ensuring that every aspect of the Café reflects our commitment to quality, people and planet.
  • Use your experience and knowledge to support the Café Manager in establishing the Café as the go-to coffee destination in the area and also fulfil Rude Health Café objectives
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold Rude Health values in all aspects of café operations, from food and beverage preparation to customer interactions.
  • Order taking, offer table service, receiving and distributing stock supplies and stock checks
  • Daily food preparation; prepare and serve breakfast, sandwiches, toasties, cakes and pastries.

KEY SKILLS:

  • A passion for quality coffee, delighting consumers and brighten their days!
  • At least 1 year experience as a barista in a specialty coffee setting
  • Capable to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficiency in espresso preparation techniques, including dialing in, shot timing, and milk texturing.

Cafe Opening Time: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm (closed on Bank Holiday)

Salary: £13.15 per hour (London Living Wage) + holiday pay
